reminder that success is in the purpose fulfilled.
and not only in the numbers, notoriety and flashy lights.
In the game of social media and the vanity of life, we sometimes think something failed because it didn't turn out big but what happens when we see that each thing serves a purpose. Like a piece to the full picture of the puzzle. Then that thing you considered a "failure" shapes out to be one of your best works because it lived to fulfil its purpose in your life.
Lol when what happens when we realize failure isn't failure like a terrible bad thing but something to want as deeply as success because it holds the same power to move us forward?
Maybe then we wouldn't be so hesitant to try new things and we can be more curious to finding our deepest self and greatest strength.
Your soul knows what it wants, but will you listen when it calls?
For the most part in seeing the connection between past interests that I held as ‘failures’ and now how the work done then is still so relevant and vital to why other interests have ‘succeeded’, it reminds me to stay open to experiencing more ‘failure’ on the journey to living the life I have always wanted.
In realizing how closely the works of our hands paint a beautiful picture of our lives, I see how every level of curiosity, every “I can do that…”, has led to more clarity, discernment, tenacity and ambition. Because the soul knows where it needs to go but will you let it?
How did one project I wanted so badly lead me to reading up so much on online courses, starting a hair care line, hosting events… and though the interest faded out of failure and the grown lack of interest to persevere, I see how it ties into the bigger picture of who I am - always wanting to share, wanting my own business and creating community around me.
You see that each of those dreams, failed in the way I thought would be successful but its succeeded in its purpose of direction. Directing you to where you are meant to be while teaching you a thing or two that can and will be applied in your present and future journey.
When you reflect or let more time pass you by, you can see from a birds eye view that nothing really ever is a failure to be hidden at the bottom of our box of accolades. It’s worth shining a light on what purpose it fulfilled in your life.
As long as we focus on success being the purpose fulfilled, maybe then we would be more open to trying new things, leaning into our curiosity, our desires, our interests - no matter how long or short. because then there would be no “failure” to fear but rather more success under our belts and a satisfying take that we are winning at life rather than losing.
If,
Success = the purpose fulfilled.
Then,
We would see more success in our lives than failures.
Time will tell us the purpose fulfilled, keep going!
:)
